vtec controller....it lets you decide when you want the vtec to kick in..and no negative effects to it at all...except when your just cruising and the vtec kicks in and all of a sudden you get un wanted boost...but if ya get the right vtec controller itll have diff. settings where you can just press a button and itll change to a more stock rpm. for vtec to kick in.
