I was driving last night and suddenly all of the precision in my shifter went out. It has tons of play and feels like rubber when shifting. When it's in gear it still has a little bit of play. I popped off the console, but couldn't see past the rubber boot. I've got about 92,000 miles on my '01. What's going on?
