Craig, I've got an '04, so my experience with the plastic window is limited, but, 1) what year's your Stewie n' 2) is the top stock r' aftermarket n' 3) do the straps look factory r' home-grown?
My first thought for somethin' in that location would be somethin' to possibly hold the plastic window protector in place when the top's folded up.
