well, i know i cant have my foot to the floor and expect it to hook up, but i dont agree that another 300 hp isnt going to make you faster. i agree with you(jake) that a car shouldnt be a money trap. i am pretty patient and good with finding deals...

i actually just bought a wrecked s2000 from a salvage yard. i tracked down the previous owner and he gave me some specs on the car.

full lovefab gt1 kit
tial 44mm waste gate
4inch down pipe
puerter rods
cp pistons
aebs sleeves
1000cc injectors
bored to 2.1L
ported head
precision 72mm ballbearing turbo
AEM EMS
buncha guages
the list goes on.

for what i paid for the car, i think i can part it out and keep everything i want and come out even, pretty much end up the labor in parting it out being what i pay for everything i wanted.

the guy said he was making 600hp @15psi and 93 octane.
