new member with a 2007 S2000

Did a lot of research and test drives on all sorts of sports cars. Tried the Nissan 350Z, BMW Z4, Mazda RX7, Pontiac Sotice, etc.... Nothing blew me away until I sat in then drove the S2000. Like sitting in a race car with great handling abilities. And with the price around $32K - how can I justify spending $15K more for the BMW with less horsepower - or about $8K more for the 350Z (this was a close 2nd) - then the Mazda was a bit too small and looked more like a girly car.

I just hope it holds up to all the mileage I do in a year (around 25K).

Now for some nitpicking items that I noticed before I bought it - but they were nowhere bad enough to stop me from purchasing her.

Altough the S2000 is a beaut - I was wondering who designed the radio control buttons by the start button. I can understand having push buttons for the Mute and Channel change - but the button designed for switching between AM - FM - CD is kind of odd. It looks like it should turn as well as be pressed - just a bad design.

Also - why can't Honda offer heated seats?

And best of all - whats with the cover you have to manually put on when you put the top down? Looks like this thing won;t last long - nor will the snaps last. Real hard to put on - was afraid I'd scratch the car when doing so. and when you put it in the trunk it takes up a lot of room.
