Aaay Ed. Glad to hear (but not the least bit surprised) that you're enjoyin' yourself.
As for Stewie not keepin' up with your 25 thou a year, not bloody likely. As this Ford man has godda admit: Mother Honda cobbled us a well put together ride. And red-faced, I can attest to it's ability to withstand considerable abuse (another time).
Regardin' the cover for the retracted top: it's intention is to cover the unsightliness. I godda admit that lookin' at the car when I'm out of it n' the top's down . . it's not one of it's better lookin' points.
But my favorite view is from the cockpit, n' the look from there is the finest kind.
I've also godda question the wisdom of anything that takes away from the ability to pop the top up in what? 6 seconds?
Right now it may be overshadowed by so many other of Stewie's attributes, but sooner r' later you'll find that a very pleasant by-product of the ability to put the top up so quickly, is how, on an almost-rainy day, you can bring utter disappointment to faces of the hardtoppers aroun' you at a light when it starts to rain n' you make a top materialize, seemingly out'a nowhere.
But, it's one'a those things that's godda be experienced to really be appreciated.
Not havin' anything impedin' that 6 seconds allows for alot more time with the top down in questionable weather.
N' then there's the fact that at over, oh, roughly 45 miles per hour normal rain r' snow doesn't enter the car. Lots'a nice points to havin' a roadster.
Hope you're gettin' as much cockpit time as you can. It's the familiarity that only comes with lots'a cockpit time that allows us to really appreciate what Stewie can do in the twistys.
Congrats Ed. Wear it in good health.
