Maybe I missed it, but in drivin' both the AP1 n' the AP2 I jus' don't see any discernable difference in power. The VTEC on both makes things happen quickly, but I really don't believe that one has any hands-down advantage over the other in the power department.
The VTEC brings both up to basically the same HP peak, n', if anything, the AP2 gets it there quicker as it doesn't have to wait as long to reach it.
Now, if you wanted to split hairs n' refer to the numbers on paper, I guess there's some trivial room for argument, but goin' by this particular ol' seat'a the pants, I've not been able to notice any edge that either one has over the other power-wize.
Redline's good fodder for bench-racin'. It's the power whut gets 'er done.
