Toys

I hope I am not the only one on this forum who likes "toys" in addition to the S2k. Well that being said I hope some of you will share some of them here on this thread. Lets keep it family friendly!

Here is a video of my latest one: A 1/5 scale Baja buggy. Powered by a 2 stroke /23cc gas engine (probably straight out of a chainsaw of a line trimmer....LOL)

Im a newbie at this so if anyone has sage advice on the care and feeding of this beast please share it!

Both RL's and Pablo's take gas(not ordinary pump gas). These are the fun ones, although there are a couple fast and fun electric ones. I gave up my Traxxas hobby, as funds got tighter.

All three I had took gas. The nitro rc cars are no joke. All three of mine would do past 50mph. And with mods on my buggy, it would do almost 90

I have lots of toys besides my S. Most of them have something to do with water, on or under.

Mine ran on a higher octane gas, with the oil premixed. Therefore not ordinary pump gas.

rl's and pablos do run on regular gas right out of the pump. The only difference is they add 2 stroke oil just like you would in a chainsaw. The 8th scale and smaller run on something called nitro fuel. There are different ratings I ran 30% nitro in my big blocks.

nice Rukus CG! How you liking it? I'm jealous of the powder man! I just got my new setup, Ride Concept TMS w/ Ride Contrabands. About to hit up the local mtns this sat here in SoCAL but its all man made snow here, crappy runs but rails and boxes all over. Better than nothing!

Put 2,500 miles on it this summer. Took a few 100+ mile trips to Traverse City this past summer, loved it. I get a lot of positive comments/questions about it riding around town. Has saved me ~$300 in the 3,000 miles I've put on it since I got it last spring. Also doesn't need to be insured up here in MI and registration is only $15 for 3 years.

Ah, Learn something new everyday. I know they had helicoptor's with the 2 stroke oil mix but I didn't know they had the same set up on the larger scale cars(no reason they wouldn't I guess), pretty cool.

Ah, the Tag watch! I foolishly own one too. Not that I'm proud of it or anything...I pretty much consider myself a complete idiot for spending that much money on something that tells time, and nothing else! Sure if you're rich, why not...go for a Rolex perhaps. But I am not rich...it's just that swiping a piece of plastic is SO much easier than handing over a small stack of hundred dollar bills! O-well, it's mine now - I'll live with it
