Adam, it all depends on how far from peak performance you wanna take it.
The 18x8.5 is the wheel diameter x width. You didn't list any offset.
The offset on the factory wheels is +55 up front n' +65 in the rear. Very extreme which'z why we ain't godda whole helluva lodda aftermarket wheels to choose from.
There's a chart that might be of help with figurin' out what you can fit, but if memory serves me, it only deals with the stock diameter wheel/tire combinations. Belly up to the black bar at the top'a the page n' select the second option:S2000 forums. You want the forum that deals with tires/wheels/suspension n' there's a post of that fitment chart available there.
Easiest way for you to come up with the answer to this would probably call up the knowledgeable souls at the 'Rack (TireRack).
It's a good deal. They keep on top'a what's new, what fits, what grips, n' all we godda do is call 'em. 'Works for me.
