Digital Guages

I am attracted to the car because of the Formula 1 styled cockpit; I was reading Carney's S2000 book from MBI that showed various design changes it went through, starting with Ayrton Senna sitting in the McLaren-Honda.

I remember a 1962 Oldsmobile my Dad had, with a light band that went from green to orange to red (or something like that , maybe yellow to red, it's been awhile!), that showed the speed. Totally cool, especially at night!

I'm simply surprised more use hasn't been made of things like the digital guages and the start button. The Toyota Prius incorporates these, and I suspect they may catch on. But it makes a unique car even more so in the true sports car class.

I'm saving my lunch money and plan on buying a 2005. I've decided the big hit on first year depreciation is OK, so long as you get the car when it first comes out. Unless I find a blue or silver 04 with red interior at a truly great price before that!
