i have had my s2k for a year now(2006 model, bought in sept 2006), and i am tired of going to the dealer for the oil changes mostly because they keep forgetting to reset the oil life gauge. They have done it both times(7400mi), so, i have lost faith in them over something very simple( i.e. very sad day), I have only had 2 oil changes, and i need something to change
Here are my questions:
1) What do you guys think of synthetic vs. regular oil, I would like to go with royal purple, because it is what I went with in my last car, as well as that prolong crap(hey it really works).
2) Should i keep having the dealer do it their way or remove them from the situation totally and find my own mechanic( if so then can someone recommend one to me in chula vista, or san diego)
3) Does anyone know if that tornado fuel saver works? You guys know the little metal thing that is supposed to save you gas by creating a little compression/tornado in your air intake to pack more oxygen into the combustion.
