Here are my questions:
1) What do you guys think of synthetic vs. regular oil, I would like to go with royal purple, because it is what I went with in my last car, as well as that
prolong crap(hey it really works).

I am partial to Mobil 1 10W30.

2) Should i keep having the dealer do it their way or remove them from the situation totally and find my own mechanic( if so then can someone recommend one to me in chula vista, or san diego)

Do your own. It's not that hard and you know its done right.

3) Does anyone know if that tornado fuel saver works? You guys know the little metal thing that is supposed to save you gas by creating a little compression/tornado in your air intake to pack more oxygen into the combustion.

Don't waste your time and money.
