I bought my '00 S2K last April and now when I let it sit overnight, then try
to start it in the morning, it just turns over and chugs for a bit and then will finally catch and start. I tried holding down the start button a few extra seconds that doesn't seem to do anything. Once it's started you can turn it off and on with no problem... and later in the day when I start it after work there is also no problem.
The problem started approx. two weeks ago when the evening temperature started to drop to around freezing and I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or if it's just a coincidence. Does anyone know what the problem is? I was thinking mass airflow sensor at first but the car idles well and runs fine once its started. Now I'm leaning towards maybe the fuel injectors? Could it possibly be the fuel pump?
Thanks for the help!
