Here is a little battery info. I have an Optima battery to start my diesel motor home. Mainly because it's sealed and I don't have to remove it to check the water. It seems to hold up very well in a vehicle that sits for months at a time. I also use a "smart" battery charger that can de-sulfate a battery.
