Seems like my only local source of premium gas has dried up. My plan B is to try some octane booster in 89 octane. The stuff I got says it will boost the octane by "up to 3 points". Kinda ambiguous, I don't know if that means 3 points in 20 gallons or 3 points in 1 gallon.

Any of you guys have any experience with any of this stuff? I have an uneasy feeling about it. Please convince me it will be ok. I don't want to revert to plan C.
