Well, I did trade in my stewie... For a newer one!
Saved me a bundle by doing it just in time: after the deal was done I was watching a football game in the waiting zone with the tradein guy (also the dealer's son) and asked him how much I would have lost if I waited until next year (my plan thwarted by my wonderful wife) to trade in - going from 59.5K to around 75K mileage. He immediately shot back "about $10,000 - because I can get this one Honda Certified now and couldn't then". Whee!
I love it that my wife talked me into trading it in...
