We will all get along as soon as he posts his time slips and dyno. But all in all I get along fine with him I just pointed out that a 412 whp s2000 will not pull away from a zo6 like described.

The C6 has way less horse power and torque then the Z06

C6 around maybe 400hp stock and around the same for the torque just food for thought

where the Z06 is 427ci (thats 7 liters) V8 at 505 hp and 450 torque

sorry I told myself I wouldn't post that but.......

I've got a good welder, full set of chisels.......'n I'm thinkin' the old Maverick could use a little juice underhood.
I figure, with the chevy powerplant, and a nice ZF Friedrichshafen 6 speed on the column.....I'll have the best slips to post on this thread.

6 on the tree. Doesn't have the same ring to it, though, neither does 6 on the floor. Unless you're in texas and talking about a six pack of Natural Lite.

Everythin'z a balance grasshopper. (I jus' love when I talk like that!)
Whether you "hadda" ledditt go 'r not, I know that, bangin' 'roun' betwixt yer ears is some other, no doubt more sinister n' intense plan of attack on that poor li'l Datsun.
As anticipation of powerplant upgrade is so much more powerful than the actual upgrade . . I figure that that li'l Datsun'a yours is goin' through Maalox at a tremendous rate.
'Lucky Bronco owner.

Yea, but I'm not sure that 'grew up' is what it did, more like morphed. I've only looked at this mill once close up and I don't think it has a single component that will interchange with the old mouse motors and rats of yesteryear. That's probably a good thing. That much power but still very streetable, that's a combination I could never quite master.

to be completely honest, there is a guy in my neighborhood who has a brand new blue z06. This car is INSANE, especially on the highway.
So heres the funny part. He boasted how he was SOOOO quick, how ridiculously fast he was, that he can blow out any car, on his stock z06. Little did we know he had NO IDEA how to drive, or launch for that matter.

SO he lines up with a pretty hooked up EVO. We made the evo agree he wouldnt spray, and he kept that part of the bargain. (this was for $)

So they go, this fool in the Z06 launches at like 1500 rpm with traction on, without warming up his tires before hand, and keep in mind this was like a month ago, here in NY and its FREEZING.

So he clearly looses but not by much in the end since the z06 pulls like a beast on the highway. And keep in mind evo launched at probably the highest rpm he could have because we heard him bouncing off his rev limiter.

So YE maybe he DID fly by a Z06, but maybe the Z06 was still in 6th gear when he did it.
