It's called overrunning your lights and I cant help thinking "what if".
Sorry for the lecture.

Yeah... deer down here is by the millions this year it seems. And you are right... it's a risk driving that fast at night. Hell, it's a risk driving that fast period. And you could definitely what if a situation like that to death. Just like you could what if a bungie jump, or snowboarding down an 85 degree mountain. All "extreme" situations are people acting stupid... to get that bit of exhilaration out of life. I don't condone the act... I just perform it.

So in late May we're having the Boone Blast in beautiful (really hilly and curvy) Boone, NC. You going to be there?

I'm really wanting to try out these mountain runs. I wanna do the Boone Blast and Wake the Dragon 08. I think those would be a TON of fun. Not to mention seeing all those S2k's in one spot... wheres the napkins!

I jus' watched the vid n' I godda second H2s suggestion Ev, except that, I'm thinkin' that you're unusually gifted with the computer n' you're havin' a bit'a sport with us.
You came up on no lap markers n' didn't even have one vehicle comin' a'cha from the opposite direction? Dunno Ev. 'Don't often see that kind'a isolation happen no mo'.
But, I'm figurin' that you've taken us for a ride, one way 'r t'other. Wuz fun, thanks.
No jokin' about H2s suggestion though Ev. Those speeds have you overdrivin' Stewiez most excellent headlamps, but those most excellent headlamps are most excellent forward n' less so side to side. Critter impacts're most likely to appear from the immediate sides while your attention'z at the most extreme forward edges'a Stewiez most excellent headlamps.
Lets be careful out there,

Appreciate the compliments Java. Yeah... I should probably get some of those giant PIAA lights and mount them on the roof in all directions. lol I've hit some critters going high speeds and it does not make your car look pretty... that's for sure. If you guys can point me in the direction to some road-racing style tracks in the NC area... I'll get a helmet and take my no-fear-of-speeds mentality there and see what I can do.
