Rockingham has a really good road course that uses a lot of the infield. VIR in Danville, VA is an excellent road course. Charlotte Motor Speedway has an excellent infield road course. Rockingham and Charlotte don't have elevation changes but they have some of the tightest "S's" and chicanes you've ever seen. And if you don't mind driving to Flowery Branch, GA, Road Atlanta will make you appreciate the S2k handling.

Excellent suggestions... appreciate it.
What kind of requirements do they have for the car? Do they have a stock class so I don't have to install rollcages and such? I know nothing about the technical-requirements side of trying to race at tracks... I just know you need a helmet. What about cost to race? Also, I assume car and health insurance is required? Would love some insider info. I've tried looking around on the SCCA website... but it's a bit convoluted.
