Going back a few more years.........This was the local track where I grew up. Located on US 1 in Langhorne, PA. At one time it was dirt and I believe, at 1 mile in length, it was the largest and fastest dirt track in the country.

Eventually it got paved and they ran Indy cars, stock cars and pretty much anything that had wheels. They called it "the big left turn" because even though it was "D" shaped, it had a very short front straight so the actual running line was a big "O".

There was once an 1/8 mile dragstrip in the infield, and I remember, at 10 years old, I stood with my toes right on the edge of the track as the cars flew by. I was hooked for life.

I went to many races at that track and saw many famous drivers. Finally in the early 70's it got bulldozed to build a K-mart. I hate K-mart.

These programs are just a little older than I am. I've been looking for some from the late 50's thru early 70's when it closed.
