Hey all, decided to sell my pride and joy. Trying to make some money and this is definitely a luxury I would love to pass on to a fellow enthusiast.
It would also help for tuition and book costs immensely.
Year: 2001
Make: Honda
Model: S2000
Ext. Color: Silverstone Metallic
Int. Color: Red on Black Leather
Mileage: 46,000 or thereabouts
Mods: Rick's Clearcorners, Carbon Fiber Radiator Diffuser
Interior: 9/10 - Very clean, the leather is in excellent condition for being 7 years old,
a few minor creases in the driver's seat from usage but very accommodating. Everything works.
Exterior: 8.5/10 - Minor spiderwebbing on the bottom of the front bumper from some curb bumping I assume (previous owner) and I may be covering it with a lip so
it will be a non-issue, 2" tear in rear plastic window but fixable if you decide to go glass which most pre-'03 owners do. Paint is CLEAN, some minor scratches from age. Minor scrapes along drivers side rear wheel well from neighbor's car, some polishing will remove most of it but a tiny bit goes to primer (on bumper, no rust risk)
I've washed her every week since I've had her and put on multiple coats of wax.
Engine: 10/10 - Once this baby heats up you can VTEC all day without an issue. There's the normal S2000 'clutch buzz' which is totally harmless.
I have changed the oil once with synthetic, the tires still have good tread (205/16 front and 225/16 rear) and I painted the brake calipers myself.
There is still a limited warranty on her, through 48,000 miles, and this includes:
Engine, Transmission, Transfer Unit, Drive Axles, Electrical, Brakes (except pads and rotors),
Steering, Air Conditioner, Front and Rear Suspension, Fuel System, Cooling System, Seals and Gaskets.
