Not gonna say I never did crazy things, but I've been lucky enough to live to a mature age and figured a few things out. I have driven all over the US and one of the conclusions I've arrived at was always expect the unexpected and you will not be disappointed. Always figure someone is going to run that red light.
Once, I was driving a hearse (nuther story) taking an off ramp to another freeway, when a car load of people in a Datsun missed the turn but tried to make it anyway.
they bounced over a concrete divider, then stopped in front of me and got out to check the car. The hearse was about 3 tons with undersized brakes. A real adrenalin rush! Very little surprises me anymore.
