I have the Vortech and I'm very happy with it. Your question about installation is hard to answer. I installed mine my self with a friend. The oil pan was time consuming but not difficult. I opted for an AN fitting for the pan so if I take the S/C off I can jsut cap the fitting instead of replacing the pan. The install is probably 20-30 hours, and the level of difficulty would depend on your mechanical expertise and experience.

I had never installed something like this on a car before, the friend that helped me is a mechanic (so I knew if I got in to trouble he would bail be out). I happen to be very handy and have installed every mod on my car myself, from the suspension to the electronics.

from my perspective the install was probably a 6-7. the secret is patience. If you car is a daily driver, and you decide to go with injectors and an fuel management system, you may want to let someone that can tune it install it.

drving the car with the S/C and fuel management not tuned could do serious damage to the motor

hope that helps
