Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but... I think that a spark plug's job is to light the fuel/air mixture and the burn takes it from there. If the heat range and gap are right and the plugs don't oil foul there should be no difference. I use platinum plugs. They keep the gap longer because the center electrode doesn't wear away as quickly. The s2k has a very advanced ignition system. I've never experienced a miss, unless going over the 9k rev limiter. I think this is another slik 50, turbo air intake, or the gadget they use to sell at swap meets that attached to the coil to boost the spark.
