Jagg, I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Again, I am not denying that that analysis and practicality have their place in car design, but so do excitement and passion. Mother did her job. She did all the planning and analysis and created an excellent machine. Adding a slightly louder exhaust may give one, me for example, a certain amount of sensuous pleasure, e.g. the sweet sound a a throaty exhaust. This does not in any way undo all of mothers good work. What's the harm? It's my dime.

Let me try to explain using a metaphor. One could make love in s sterile room with nice white pristine sheets and large fluorescent lights. it would be very practical and if one were to analyze it it would be an excellent environment for procreation.

Personally, given the choice, I prefer a glass of Cabernet, candles, perfume, and a nice room overlooking the ocean.
