I have just purchased a 2002 S2000. The car has 20,000kms (12,400 miles). I have the opportunity to extend the warranty on this car for 3 more years for the cost of $1500.00. This car has been very well taken care of and obviously not driven very much in the las 3 years.
This will be a summer car only fopr me, and we don't expect to put more than 5000kms a year on it.

What kind of problems have any of you experienced, and any opinion on whether I should pay the $1500.00 to extend this warranty 3 years for only about 15000kms of use?

I suspect this car to have only 35000kms (22,000miles) by the time it is 6 years old.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I need to make my decision by April 21st.
