Hehe, I have been reading this site way to long to not know where it is.
I always check what is in there whenever we got/get an S2000 in, but in this particular one I found the manual which was in poor condition, and a set of LowJack paperwork. I know enough about LowJack to know that it does not transfer owners, but there were also the registration papers there, so I do not believe that the original owner actually registered it...maybe they didn't know that they had to?
So my question would be: If I registered the LowJack in my name, would I be covered by it, even though technically I didn't pay for it? If I call and ask the company they would probably want to look it up then flag the serial number/VIN, so I will call if I *need* to, and just be vague, but perhaps you guys would know.
(PS: Thanks for the warm welcome!)
(PPS: Java, I have been struggling to read you writing for close to a year now, and I *still* have to read your posts several times! However - I always know when it is you writing! Haha, I've been wanting to write that forever...)
