This is an S2KI-NE meet but I don't think they'd mind if more S's show up. You can always join as a guest if it makes ya feel better.

I'm pretty sure I will be there. I live very close by.

I expect my wife will go. She doesnt mind hooters. If it would help I can verify that. If ryan-Lazy Professor- goes he will bring his girl. Dunno about George..never met his wife. I'll poke into the other sight and see what the female outlook looks like. Wendy IS a female so there is another.

Hello Gentlemen---------I am thinking about it, I have never been to Hooters, but what the heck! Never been to any S2000 events either.
March 30th is my husbands birthday but I am sure he won't mind a drive along the shore. -----------------------J

Actually I think so! Unless they figure out how to make me live to 120 I may wear this one out.

Joyce That "drive" will sure be a nice present for your hubbies birthday! Don't leave his glasses home if he wears any!

I hear ya Red! I'm figuring on a 2 day trip. I'm leaving on Thurs to arrive on Friday. It's about 750 miles. I'm already dreading all the bugs on Baby's nose. Hopefully that will be the worst of it.

We NE folks do need to get together one day this spriing though. Java and I were talking about it a while ago. We bandied about the idea of meeting in a diner neat Harriman State Park. There is such a diner in Tuxedo on Rt 17. Any weekend except April 19 & 20 is good for me.....that one is accounted for. Gotta go Wake The Dragon.

Not sure what the agenda is but I assume lunch at Hooters then maybe a shoreline drive around the Milford area. George is the store boss on this one. Generally he will lead the drive and we follow parade like. Enjoy the scenery and no passing or other such persuits..
I personally have trouble NOT treating it like a motorcycle ride free for all (much practice with that!) but I am getting better at it. And also calming down somewhat behind the wheel in general, but DAMN it aint easy with this car.

Well the meet was great. Went for a nice shoreline drive then a blast down the Pike with our very own PABLO! Had to snap a shot off at about 80. My wife made a squeeky noise! I figure it was worth the risk..

I do apprecaite you taking it..........Thank you!

Oh, and Java, we did miss you! Red Stwokay drank at least a gallon of Java in your honor.

Hi Folks! Nice meeting you all today. I thought I'd stop over and see what was going on at this forum. Guess I'll have to pop in regularly. Any way, if you didn't see it OTOF (on the other forum), I posted a link to my pix.

If you meant the diner on the left on Rt 17 as you're going north, too bad I didn't know about it, I'd have met you there. I used to spend a lot of time in that area.

This is going to be a quickie trip. Straight up to LG from VA, do the practice drive on Saturday, do a practice drive on Sunday and then head home. I am headed to Westport, MA on the 15th for the Nor'Easter meet. I might be able to make it over that way then.

Thanks for the invite Red. Sounds like fun. Unfortunately, we have a family event planned for 8/2, but keep us in mind for future events.

Hey Red! Glad to hear ya took the S out for a spin.

Mrs Pab and I did same. We went out the north fork of LI to visit wineries, sip some fermented grape juice and listen to some jazz. Parking was at a premium so I had to park the S in a spot I normally would have avoided. Sho'nuff Bleu got stuck in the mud. No way out without a push from a few other patrons. To quote the folks kiind enough to give a push:

Her: What kind of car is that?"
Him: "I have no idea but it sure is a slug in the mud."
Her: "Yeah, but it sure is nice."

Lovin' the "S"..........but I think she needs M/S footware!

Hey Red. You are right about sinkin' up to her belly. That would have been ugly. As it was she did sink up to her rims. It's funny the first thing I checked when I got to my next stop was the possibility of denting or scratching Bleu's hood by the helping hands. Luckily all was OK. I guess Stewie owners all think alike when it comes to their ride!

I will try to make on or more of those gatherings. Thanks for mentioniing them. And, Yes, I'm Pablo on the other site too.......and in real life also....LOL
