I listen to alot of rock/metal and clarity is what i look for most in my systems, However im a whore about my speakers and if i can help it for interiors il run bostons/focals. That being said obviously you dont want to empty your wallet with the purchase of new audio equipment. Sounds like your going the right direction on the pioneers with a shallow depth. As far as the sub goes to each his own. personally i perfer sealed sub boxes for a tighter sound. The bazooka will be a little sloppy but it wont be horrible. And if your keeping the stock deck just keep in mind if you crank it to high you might still get alot of wash out and cruddy sound from lack of power.
