When I was looking for a roadster, the Boxster came up. It was in my price range, and there's the mystique of the brand.

I drove several Boxsters including the S. The gripe I had was with the shifter. It's cable driven and has a very long throw from front to back. It's also poorly appointed for a Porsche.

It put the s2000 on my radar. I test drove one, and drove it home the same day.
