Maintenance: Nothing extra to do. I change my oil pretty frequently (3,000 miles.. overkill) but that seems to be the norm for SC cars.
Warranty: Forget it. Warranty is up in smoke on the entire drivetrain and possibly other parts of the car as well once installed. Wait until warranty expires.
Resale value: I thought about this for a while too. I don' t know about your experience, but private sale of ANY used car worth over ~10 grand is a slow process... selling a low production roadster is probably even slower. Therefore, I've always traded my cars despite the hit in value. (The 'hit' in value is only on paper... if you can't find a buyer to pay KBB retail, that number has no meaning). Anyway, I expect trading a SC'd car, if you're lucky, you might get wholesale BB for a
stock one since the dealer also realizes that modified it will be hard to find a buyer.
The solution: Remove the SC (the Comptech is completely reversible without any evidence it was installed, the Vortech might require a new oilpan since you had to drill a hole), reinstall all your stock parts. Sell the mods on ebay or s2ki.com. If you really want to move the stuff, sell it for half of retail. I've seen people sell used SC's for 75% of retail (crazy!). You now have a couple of thou to play with.
Then just drive the now stock S to the Corvette dealer and trade it in as a bone stock car on a new Z06.
I guess to put in another way, the demand for aftermarket parts alone + demand for a stock car > demand for a car with aftermarket parts.
