If they rattle now buying a hard top isn't going to make them stop rattling (and now the latches will be right behind your head where they can really drive you crazy). There is a service bulletin about this, check your dealer and they'll fix it for you or follow the above advice and get some aquarium air hose and cut two short pieces and slide them over the hooks...
