Talking If speed kills why is driving slow killing me?

Hmmm, is this the hot troublesome thread that has caused someone to quit? My two cents, hope no one hates me for it...

I'm kinda middle of the road in many ways. I'm older than many and younger than some. Heck we didn't all buy S's to be old and boring. Generally you buy a sports car to well drive sporty in a vehicle made to do so.

Just last night I was out with some friends, many years younger. The S has been on stands in my gargae getting some tweeks so I was out with the bike. Mine is a cruiser, the others had crotch rockets. We went and hit the twisties, they took it easy since I was on a cruiser, kept it under 100 for the most part. Anyway, there are many who'd say it was stupid. I hate to say older folk so I'll say more conservative folk would say that's stupid because it's much to fast and less conservative folk, usually younger would say it's stupid because it was much to slow. Me, I've got it in my blood, can't do anything about it. If I always drive slow as I do alot with gas and yes safety in mind then I'd go nuts, get in a deep depression or something.

You gotta let go sometimes. For some it's an occasional drink, some weed, pills (prescribed or not), gambling, sex, smoking the legal leaves which cause cancer in the smoker and the receiver of the second hand. Maybe it's something good, jogging, running, biking (pedal power), sports etc. Some people need to go fast and when you decide now is the time, well now is the time. Not next week or next month at the track but now! So anyway, call me a speed freak but don't ever call me late if your offering some good chow!

BTW, it was late, no traffic, just three crazy bikers, stone cold sober, well maybe a bit heavy on the coffee...

PS, It's better to say you had a spirited drive or ride rather than say you raced. It was funny to hear these younger guys I rode with call it a spirited ride. They were quite impressed with my riding especially considering I was on a cruiser...they didn't say old... See, I'm not old and I'm not dead yet either.

OK, now it's time to duck and see what flies over head! Play nice...
