fuel Management.
I'm actually installing the SuperCharger at my shop. it's going to run me $4600 installed. with the aftercooler. that'll save me about $1400. and the SOS kit is around $3800. brings me to $8400 plus shipping and tax.. but i'm still working on that.
Stock is 4-5 psi. not the highest thing. you can get higher pulleys but the Comptech unit won't adjust the fuel system. it just kind of fools it.
Simply fooling the Stock ECM is not enough when trying to force more fuel and air into the engine. although the device supplied by comptech does the job. when you add a higher boost pulley and the fuel doesn't adjust accordingly you have a performance loss that needs alittle tuning. Having the fuel managment system will allow you to replace the Comptech unit and dyno tune the car much more efficiently. adjusting fuel. SOS installs new injectors with the system and although i'm not crazy about them replacing the ECU in my car!? I'm willing to take the risk since I can check codes and fix things with my HDS.
As far as the NOS goes.. well I have a friend who turbo's his car and blew the engine with a "300 shot of NOS". quite a sight from what I understand! however.. .he ran 150 on it for 2 years and used it regularly without a problem. I'm not brave enough for that but i'm going to give the 75 a go..
any ways.. wish me luck!
