ya, I know this is different. Most people want to put in a Turbo or S/C, intakes, exhaust... I want to pull all that stuff out, and put in a lot of batteries. I figure I can remove 550-600 pounds of engine/emissions stuff, and then put in 1,000+ pounds of batteries. That is why I'm wondering about the payload of the frame and suspension. The car will probably be 500 lbs heavier then stock when conversion is done. Then 1 or 2 poeple get in... I was just curious if it would take it or will the suspension bottom out on every bump and end up damaging something...
so I may need stiffer springs or coilovers to pump it back up.
