Jack stands are for sure the best way to go, but if you have a blacktop driveway like I do beware! They may ( on a HOT day it's a sure thing) sink into the driveway and damage it just like a bike on a side stand does. Use a scrap piece of 3/4" pine or the like under each stand to avoid problems.
