Hi, all. I'm just displaying some of my usual, "oh crap, I'm running out of time" tendencies. I need some race tires!!!! I want to compete in the S.F. region soloII events this year. I've run a couple years in my BMW 2002. I loved it but did it more out of fun and for educational purposes than serious competition. This year I want to really try to place. There's a problem though.... I want to run the stock AP2 tire configuration, (except with 16in. rim size)but it looks like the victoracers and ecsta v710's are only available in awkward sizes. What are the combinations you all use? Or what combo have you heard of that works well, giving a nice 30mm offset between the front/rears? (ex. front 215/50 and 245/45) The only sizes I see are as follows:

V700
front (225/50/16), and rear (245/45/16)

v710
front (215/40/16), and rear (225/50/16)

A little frustrating if you ask me. I was thinking maybe the rear of the v710's and the front v700??? I figure that way you have the strong bite of the v700, and the sticky rear of the v710. I don't really know though. But then, the offset is all out of whack and will really unbalance the car.....Input Please!!
