To install the VAFC, you'll either pay a shop to splice into your ecu harness or you can spend 150 bucks from boomslang to make a harness for you. I'd buy the harness if I were you cause you really don't want to mess up your ecu harness. It'll just plug inbetween the ecu and the factory harness http://www.boomslang.us

After installed and initially setup, I wouldn't tune it myself unless you have a wideband AFR gauge or an EGT gauge. Even with those, a dyno tune will be your best bet to get it tuned right. Road tunes aren't as good as dyno tunes. If you don't know how to tune it, its simple, but you'll be better off paying a tuner for an hour or so to get it done right.
