Hi, is there anyone in IL?
I am in the 'chicago land'. Although this is only my second year in United State, I already figure out that time for S2000 on our road wouldn't be long. So, we should treasure our nice weather with our S2000.
Does anyone live in my area?
Do you guys cruise together? Or is there any S2000 meeting in the summer?

4406, did you ever jump on a highway and get out of your area?
I did a trail to jump out of my area with my S2000, but the I-88 to the west is so bummpy that my neck is so tired and hurt after 20 miles on the highway.

 

i usually try and hit I-57 head south, or over to Indy every once in while, when i am in country, but like you i wish there were more of us here in Illinois, i know Djjsr live up in Hootersville, but that is about it, i figured there were more up in your area...

 

Stewies arent made for comfort, they are made for hard driving on the twisties, so going straight, you will feel every bump, but you learn to live with it....

 

Ya, u're right, maybe I just doesn't get used to it yet. Can we figure a way to find all of our S2000 frds in IL? Seems that they are hiding themselves.

 

That would be crazy, seeing a bunch of S2K's rolling down the streets at once We always have organized cruises when it comes to the lowrider side of me all the Chi`Town lowrider from all the near by clubs meet up and roll around Downtown, Cicero, archer....But then again that is when I'am in my 63 Impala not too many S2000's around here...

 

There are a few Thursday night meets over in the Schaumburg area. Someone's putting together a scenic drive through Wisconsin in a week or two. You can get the info over on www.s2ki.com.

 

there was a meet in schaumburg a couple weeks ago. i would say around 20 chicagoland s2k came out. sign up for www.s2ki.com. you'll find a lot more chicagoland guys compared to here.

 

i just joined the site right now..i am from Chicago..i use to have a 2007 honda civic si and am a member of 8thcivic.com and we had a lot of meets in woodfield, IL. I don't know how things are on this forum but hopefully similar!..by the way i own a 2005 silverstone

New member live in Springfield , s2000 is a early retirement gift to myself ; I had been a considering a Fiat or MG , had both before kids . I saw the Honda on a car lot , drove it and knew the oldies were out .

May be we can get together for a fall run .
