I had an old Honda Civic. Got it free with a blown head gasket. Shaved the head and replaced the head gasket twice. It would blow on a hot day going up a steep grade. Gave the car to my friend. He replaced the head gasket AND the radiator (which looked fine inside (as far as one could see) and outside). He never had a problem with it again.
