it really depends on what you would like to do with the car drag it...track... or what companys like comptech make really good parts but are going to run you alot of money...what ever performance parts you are going to buy for an s2000 are going to be a junk of change
when purchasing a header i recomend spoon there 4-2-1 creates power through out the whole power band unlike a comptech 4-1-1 were you sell some loss in the low range same in mid range and lots of power gains in the top end, dc sports also makes a really nice header for that is stainless steel for 650 but those other headers are going to run you 1000 dollars......some good exhaust are amuse, invidia makes a really nice exhaust for about 600, hks, apexi all make good sounding exhaust it just depends how loud you want and what tone you want, comptech makes a great cat back, for cold air intakes comptech makes a good one injen makes really good quality and performance for about 300 i recomend the injen , it just reallly all depends on what your taste is and what you want from the car
veilside makes the best body kit for the s2000 called the mellenium i highly recomend it turns the car from a bad ass roadster to a ferrari looking street machine so some people have told me
as for ecu have about 3 options vtec controller 400 bucks mods fuel and lowers vtec point from what u choose 3000rpm to 55000rpm
or you can go with a mugen replacement about 1700
or aem ems if u are going to turbo or supercharge the car for around 2grand
but remember you always get what you pay for
