Typical loser in school with no power now hes a cop so he can get his revenge. There were only 50000 ways that cop could have handled it that didnt require that.

Total Stalinist BS. Didn't sign his ticket? Why not just hang him with piano wire?

Thanks Dez, it's been a while since I've experienced a good blood-boilin'.

that is true. I have to say in Tulsa,Ok the cops are usually nice. But I have had a couple of down right ****** but the ****** pulled me over for stupid stuff and wrote me a ticket like one was where I was driving 5 under the speed limit enjoying just a nice drive. He gave me a ticket for no signal for $120. Nicest cop I ever had wrote me up for drag racing.

Its almost the guys fault for not complying to the guys instructions. But what really pisses me of is that the cop tasered him on the side of the road, and it really put the guys life on the line. If that guy would have stepded into trafic by mistake that cop would be responsably for destroying that family.

It really pisses me of when cops do irresponsable thing too. I've seen many cases where cops have been driving completly bejond what would be considered safe(even when chasing), cutting people off squeezing between lanes.

I hate to rant, but cops should realize that they have the power to really screw people over by letting their egos get to them.

Quite true but then again you have to admit the average I.Q. level here in the states aint to high. I wonder about this figure though.....what is the average use of said I.Q. level?

I think Men In Black one said it best. The person is smart. People and dumb and panicy or something along those lines.

Looked at some of the other taser incidents on Utube. I'm a little sick to my stomach. Some cops think that having a badge makes them a small time god. One woman, who happened to be black, was tased for taking too long to produce her license and registration.

Having said that, signing a ticket is not an admission of guilt. It is a promise to appear or post bail. You don't play around with an angry snake. He should have signed.

Does anyone know how these videos make it to youtube? Are they covered under the freedom of information act? Or do they just "slip out" and are posted? Seems to me this could be incriminating for either side depending on the circumstances.

Granted I agree this is a poor choice of a use of force, but by know means should this video make one hate cops. Many people hate cops until they need a cop. There are way more good cops out there then bad cops so don't let the crappy few get to your head.

There's good and evil everywhere. Just look at some of our so-called leaders. As was mentioned, cops are good guys when you need them. Without them there would be anarchy.

However, there are a lot of blue meanies that need to culled. Those gestapo types have a toy to torture, people who don't bow down to the master, under color of authority. And that needs to be addressed. There is no place for them in a free society, just as there is no place for govt. individuals flaunting the constitution of the United States and claiming immunity. That filters down to law enforcement.

you know..i know cops just do their job and hey, they should..i dont hate em, but that was completely too much.. i coulda understood if the guy was intimidating the officer..but this guy was just looking for some reasoning...when it comes down to it..if you are getting out of the car when pulled over, there probably won't be a good outcome, but that was just messed up. watch it again and the cop doesn't say he is placing him under arrest until after he tases him...he actually invites the guy to come out. the dude had his hands in his pockets for crying out loud.

Go back to that place on U tube and look at some of the other taser incidents. There are some real dregs out there that call themselves police officers. What frosts my buns, is that even with in car cameras they get off with it. What would they do outside camera range?

You can not argue with cops. Argue in court. That guy was an idiot.
I don't lke cops at all. They can do whatever they want and most likely get away with it. But we have to have them no doubt.
NEVER argue with cops and keep your hands on the wheel untill instructed otherwise.

Sadly Phil, get paid from monies intended to go to police officers carrying out their sworn duties.
The question of how these misfits got past the psychological is only part of it
The bigger question is how these video records, and the individuals in them, were handled by their superiors.
I’d imagine that anyone featured in any videos such’z that are flippin’ alodda burgerz, washin’ alodda dishez’n possibly servin’ a bidd’a time in’a ol’ crossbar hotel.
If the superiors didn’t act on the witness given by those videos, they’d be just as criminally guilty and just as legally accountable as the perps.

i dunno guys/gals...

I agree that the cop was a quick on the trigger... but that dude was a classic "passive aggressive" case.... He did not comply with ANYTHING that the officer requested of him -- be it standing still, signing the ticket etc....-- yet all the while just using that really "poor me" mantra... "I've done nothing wrong and I'm just trying to understand".... Sorry, but I ain't buying it.

I'd have signed the ticket too.

'Can't speak fer the total veracity'a this'z it jus' came in over the wire, but, the resultz end'uv'itt're 'bout right'n it did seem pert'nt ta the thread:

Pocket Taser Stun Gun, a great gift for the wife. A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket Taser for their anniversary submitted this:

Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked (slight pun intended) my interest. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse-sized taser. The effects of the taser were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety....??

WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button.
Nothing!

I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button AND pressed it against a metal surface at the same time; I'd get the blue arc of electricity darting back and forth between the
prongs. AWESOME!!!
Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave.

Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-A batteries, right?

There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target. I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such
a sweet cat. But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised.

Am I wrong?

So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perch ed delicately on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and taser in another. The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water. Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.

All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5' long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference; pretty cute really and (loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-A batteries) thinking to myself, 'no possible way!'
What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best...?

I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head cocked to one side as to say, 'don't do it dips##t, reasoning that a one second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad. I decided to give myself a one second burst just for heck
of it. I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and . .
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD . . .
WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION . .
WHAT THE HELL!!!

I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet,
both nipples on fire, ********* nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs?

The cat was making meowing sounds I had never heard before, clinging to a picture frame hanging above the fireplace, obviously in an attempt to avoid getting slammed by my body flopping all over the living room.

Note: If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a taser, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one second burst when you zap yourself! You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor.. A three second burst would be considered conservative?

IT HURT LIKE HELL!!!

A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up and surveyed the landscape. My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. The recliner was upside down and about 8 feet or so from where it originally was. My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching. My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs. I had no control over
the drooling.

Apparently I pooped on myself, but was too numb to know for sure and my sense of smell was gone. I saw a faint smoke cloud above my head which I believe came from my hair. I'm still looking for my nuts and I'm offering a significant reward for their safe return!!

P. S. My wife loved the gift, and now regularly threatens me with it!

I've already posted how when I needed one, it took over 45 minutes for one to respond. Why?? Because they are too busy generating revenue from writing tickets from speed traps instead of actually being helpful in protecting those who need it.

You'd have a better shot of convincing me that my taxes won't be higher with Obama as president than cops first priority isn't generating revenue.

Some idiots dressing up like superheroes doing the work the Chula Vista police should have been doing. I had another article with a video interview, but the link no longer works:

http://www.10news.com/news/15590312/detail.html

Chula Vista police with the chance to generate even more revenue:

http://www.10news.com/news/16770988/detail.html

And again, I stress that I had a situation that took them over 45 minutes to respond. Chula Vista has a VERY large police dept with a headquarters that looks like it is in Beverly Hills, not just a 5-car fleet.

Well I'm not going to argue becuase we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I know everyday I go to work, or at all period, there is not one single time that I have ever thought about creating revenue. Why? Because any ticket I write or any person I lock up, any fine they may receive goes to the State of Maryland (the state in which I work in). So why would I give two craps of creating revenue for a state that doesn't put the money back into law enforcement? I am extremely underpaid with no updated contract information of getting raises anytime soon, so if you think for one second that me writing a ticket is going to work at me getting a raise...you're crazy.

Anyways, I do my job because I have a passion for law enforcement, I truely love what I do and not to make money (which in NO way could or would I make money from tickets). Hope my rant makes sense to someone

I hope there are others out there that feel like you do. How many times to we see idiots putting others in danger and wish there were a cop around.

I remember waiting at a freeway on ramp with a metered signal. I saw some jerk coming up the shoulder with the intent of forcing his way in. Up ahead there was a motorcycle officer waiting like the rest of us. I leaned on the horn, got his attention , he saw the jerk and took action. Got a warm fuzzy feeling on that one.
