I loved the Z, but the tire feathering (which was not fixed in the 2k4 models as they claimed) and the squeaks and creaks that slowly worked their way into the car did it in for me.

The ride is a little stiffer (I had a touring, not track) but the s2000 handles way better, the clutch is way more forgiving (think BMW stiff for the Z) and the interior doesn't seem all cheap and plastic like.

I'll post back in here, in a couple weeks after the either of having a new car wears off and give you some real impressions.

Forgot to mention Nissans crappy customer service, had a 2000 civic for a while and anything that went wrong with it Honda was fixing it (even when it was my fault) without question. Nissan made me go to Nissan USA Corporate everytime I wanted (legitimate) warrenty work done. They could never fix the road noise from the tire feathering (went thru 2 sets in 2 years) and wouldn't fix the constant clicking coming from the rear hatch.
