For any NE members who like to drool on exotic cars the 6th annual Concours de Elegance at the Americana Shopping Center in Manhasset, NY is being held on October 12, 2008. 9AM - 3PM. The show is free and on display you will find an incredible gathering of Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's etc, etc.

The Americana Shopping center is in western Nassau County on Northern Blvd. in Manhasset which is about 20 miles from Manhatthan and maybe 10 miles from the Throgs Neck Bridge. I have attended the past two years and it is an amazing show.

Thanks Bat! As for buying one of those exotics, well that hardware is WAY too ostentatious and pretentious for me, so I'm stickin' with my "S".

that looks like fun, i love car shows and admirering exotics that are way out of my price range, SO FAR!

 

The show was incredible ... it was a car fanatics wet dream and the weather was perfect for it.

Highlights: 2 Enzo's, an F50, F40, a custom White Murcielago LP640, a custom Redish/Maroon Gallardo w/ matching wheels, an SLR, a Vanquish S, 2 Carrera GT's, and even a red/blk Bugatti Beyron. Then the 'regular' fare of Ferrari 355's, 360's, 430's, Testaraossa's, Lambo Gallardo's, Murcielago's, Diablo's, a few Countach's, Porsche 911 Turbos, All Aston Martin's, Bentley GT's, a bunch of Maserati's, several Rolls Phantoms, 3 Nissan GT-R's, an Audi R8 ... and a gorgeous S2000 (which I drove home in).
