Write down a list of concerns you have with the car and make sure you spell them out for the guy who's gonna be doin' the look-see. When it's all over make sure that you are satisfied that all your questions have been adequately addressed and answered.
It's gonna ouch the pocketbook, but I see no way around it. If nothin' else it'll give you some peace-of-mind n' that will be worth the outlay.
