'Couldn't agree with monk more. A baseball cap (with the brim forward as it was designed to be worn) gives you the benefit of a head-mounted sun-visor.
It lets you adjust the sunblock to slight, r' extreme degrees with an ability to place the edge of the brim at the most extreme edge of your visibility with just a very minor tilt of your head.
It also has the dual ability (for those of us with thinnin' top fur) to both keep the dome from burnin' n' havin' everybody lookin' over thinkin' of us as jus' another old, baldin' guy in a convertible.
A baseball cap, with instructions on it's most efficient use, should be standard equipment, and issued with all cars at time of purchase.
