For what it's worth, the hackers posting spam can only create accounts, there is no anecdotal evidence on other forums that they actually hack into the system. I think his number was already trashed, and when he posted replies about the gallery problem it got worse.
Franklin has been nothing but helpful in trying to resolve this, I really don't think he's a master hacker YES I AM YOU FOOL but an innocent victim here...
