Halo, as I remember it, you had once mentioned about havin' "outgrown" ridin' a bike when the topic came up. Do I detect a "still-biker" behind that calm facade r' izzatt jus' an old story bein' brought out?
N' you're absolutely right (as usual): most people jus' don't have a clue what the new sportbikes r' capable of.
It might have somethin' to do (opinion n' some experience bein' spoken here folks) with all the times that the bikers don't waste their time racin' every kid in whatever the kid's tryin' to challange the bike with.
Naturally, the result of that translates to: "Whoa! Am I fast r' what? That bike didn't have a chance! Where's another bike? Bring 'em on!"
When most of the bikes (not just the sporters) can jump from 70 to well over a hundred in a nano-second because the rider sneezed r' carelessly stretched, I really think that most folks jus' ain't got a clue.
But everything's relative. There's always somethin' faster. But on a sportbike, there ain't much (that ain't sportin' swept wings n' heat-seekin' armament).
Be well.
