Thinks for the replys. Its either the catalytic converter or there is also a service bulletin related to gear backlash causing a rattle which is very close if not exactly what I am experiencing. Cure is replacing the clutch with and "improved" disc. Not certain I understand how the clutch affects the gear backlash but at least we have some information. I am going to let the local Honda dealership have a crack at the car and see what they think. Keep ya posted and if anyone else has more information let me know. Car goes in Friday. John Heckman
