Beware the Flim-Flam Man
Short n' sweet guys. (yeah, I know. I'll believe it when I see it)
'Jus' put my winter rubber/rims on the car n' was reminded that I got hustled by a smooth talkin' salesman (I should'a stuck with TireRack) into puttin' +45s on my Stewie n' we all know that it calls for +65s.
Ain't alodda wheels out there that're even near the correct offset.
My allowin' my better judgement to be over-ridden results in my fender wells chewin' rubber whenever the road turns a little rough n' I'm doin' my usual hard cornerin'.
I know alodda folks feel that Stewie needs new wheels, but if you actually drive the thing hard, you might wanna second-think pickin' up wheels that aren't the correct offset.
To the best of my knowledge only mother Honda has wheels of that offset n' they, unfortunately, go for $600 a pop. @*#&!!! It's almost cheaper to buy a second Stewie.
Holdin' back to keep from doin' damage ain't no fun at all.
Be well.
